Bedford Players Trust operates thanks to the hard work and dedication of a small group of Trustees & Steering Group Members.

The Board meets 6-8 times each year to discuss finances, projects and help to develop the delivery of our work across Bedford.

Julie Blunt

Julie is Creative Director and co-founder of The Art of Work and is an experienced learning design architect.

Kate Harpin

Kate is Deputy Head Academic at Bedford Modern School Junior School.

Brenton Jackson

Brenton is an experienced Portrait Photographer & organiser of many Cultural Aspects live music events. He has been a trustee of BPT since 2013

Bipin Shah

Bipin is a trustee of 21st Century Education Trust & Project 229, Kempston as well as being the secretary for Ananda Arts Bipinchandra Shah has lived in Bedford since 1977 and always strives to find the time to give back to the community that welcomed him so warmly all those years ago. He works hard to provide opportunities for the local community revolving around South Asian arts.

Jim Harris

Jim is Professor of Environmental Technology at Cranfield Environment Centre & a long-time supporter of The Place Bedford. Jim provides guidance to staff on Sustainability strategies for BPT & its projects.

Rae Levene

Founder Trustee of Bedford Players Trust, Rae has been delivering creative projects in Bedford since the late 1970s. Rae's extensive experience of Charity law provides guidance to the staff & trustees of BPT.
